USM Dormitory - MGA Cast stone was called upon to provided architectural elements to the University of Southern Maine dormitory. MGA cast stone provided sills, wall caps and date stones for the building. The Wall cap designed to be thicker than the standard give the entrances stately grandur. A white limestone color with an etched finish was chosen for its crisp lines and even color that sets of the precast from the building and provides a great architectural element to a rather ordinary steel clad building.
