This historical project at the University of Connecticut was another great challenge for MGA Cast stone. MGA Cast Stone was chosen to due this project by Hoffman Architects based on our previous work at Wellesley College. Our ability to match the existing cast stone was far superior to our competitors and was the deciding factor in selecting MGA Cast Stone. This project was a selective replacement of parapet stones and gable coping on the museum, a total of 20 pieces. We were required to match existing color and finish which consisted of a heavy exposed aggregate and a buff color.
