Rutland Post Office
This project was a Federal Historical project and consisted of a complete veneer replacement of the 1930's era terra cotta with a new cast stone veneer painted and glazed to match existing. There were a total of 1200 pieces that needed to be replaced. All of the pieces required hand painting using 5-6 colors to match the originals. The pieces were then glazed to match the original terra cotta. This project was very complex from the field measuring and design to the fabrication. The new pieces were required by the historical department to match the existing as a one for one, which they did.
