MGA Cast Stone was excited about the opportunity to work on this historical project as it was a great example of terracotta replacement using cast stone. In the photos you can see the original terracotta pieces have deteriorated severely and the structural integrity had been compromised. The restoration involved using rubber molds to replicate each piece and then cast new pieces in white cast stone. The entire parapet needed to be re-engineered to support the weight of the new cast stone replacement. The finished results were amazing, and restored the building to its original historic elegance.
