This 1920's era art deco building was in need of major repair. Working closely with the city of Waterville and the mason, MGA Cast Stone replicated and replaced 80% of the architectural precast façade. The project replacement consisted of a large architrave banding, sills, and smaller decorative bands. MGA Cast Stone used rubber and wood molds to replicate the intricate designs from that period in history. Color and finish was selected to match the existing remaining pieces which was an etched finish with a buff color. This project is ongoing and the second phase parapet replacement will happen in the year to come.
