MGA Cast stone was selected to provided cast stone replacement pieces to over 75 selected deteriorated cast stones on the Tower Court building at Wellesley College. The pieces consisted of banding, wall coping, sills, parapet cap, veneer, and medallions. MGA was required to match the existing cast stone which varied in color and finish due levels of sun exposure. In all, there were 4 different colors and finishes that needed to be done to the pieces to match the different areas of the building. Mold materials used to replicate were clay molding, rubber, and wood. When finish to new cast stone pieces blend in excellently with the original.
