Gerry Hamann, President and Owner
Gerry Hamann founded MGA CAST STONE, INC. in 2000. Having started the business as a one man operation working out of his home garage, his spirit for entrepreneurship and desire for a high quality product has transformed the company and it's people into what it is today. Gerry developed, and is personally involved in MGA CAST STONE, INC's. quality control and assurance program, which are the vital building blocks to MGA CAST STONE'S success.
Gerry has 25 plus years in the commercial masonry trade as well as nine years in the concrete Industry. Gerry brings the field experience and knowledge of how products are used, applied and viewed, which keeps MGA Cast Stone a top performer.
Greg Hamann, Vice President
Greg Hamann brings over 12 years of construction management, sales, estimating and masonry trades to MGA CAST STONE, INC. Greg is involved in daily operations and management of our team. He is also involved in estimating, and works on specialty projects that demand the highest degree of attention.
Greg brings to us a broad knowledge of commercial construction with an understanding of the commercial masonry trade and the precast industry having worked in growing MGA CAST STONE, INC with his father. Tom Hamann, Regional Sales Manager ME & NH
With a major in Leadership and Organizational Studies, Tom brings to our team a great insight on team dynamics, and how effective and positive communication, can overall strengthen a team's performance and product. Through extensive world travel, Tom has realized the importance of corporate responsibility. Tom is constantly working with our management team to help improve our carbon footprint. Tom's previous experience in human resource management allows for great collaboration with our existing team members. Tom works with us at a variety of levels including estimating and project management.
Chris Stearns, Regional Sales Manager MA, CT, RI & VT
Chris has been a part of the architectural precast & cast stone industry for over 16 years. He started off as a drafter, and has also worked as estimator and project manager. Chris brings the experience required to ensure your project runs smoothly, from initial design to job completion. His experience is enhanced by his Bachelor's degree in Architecture. As our regional sales manager, Chris is responsible for the overall leadership and development of sales and project management for his area Chris is a motivated individual who strives to offer the highest level of customer service, and quality cast stone and precast products his customers demand. Rob Waterman, Quality Control and Assurance Manager
Rob Waterman brings over twelve years of experience in the construction management and human resources fields. Early in his career, Rob was the President of one of Maine's largest hardscape companies. He then went on to work as an Account Manager and Trainer for a communications engineering firm where he was responsible for staffing solutions for clients and projects nationwide. Additionally Rob has a B.A. in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College with concentrations in Management and Human Resources. Today in his role as Quality Manager, Rob is applying his keen eye for craftsmanship along with his knowledge of process creation and employee training to ensure MGA Cast Stone is delivering the best possible product to our clients each and every time.
Adam Furin, Plant Manager
Adam Brings 10 years experience in the construction industry into his role as Plant manager here at MGA Cast Stone. He possesses certifications as a level II Quality control officer, and as well as an APA Certified batch plant operator. His continuing "Can Do" attitude makes him a vital asset to the company, and becomes contagious to everyone he works with. He is project conscious and focused on delivering high quality precast on time meeting our customer's demands. Adam is also involved with lean processing and overall plant/employee function.
William Hamm, Production Supervisor
William brings to MGA 10 years of experience in the construction field. William is Production Supervisor for MGA Cast Stone. William has earned his position with us by working hard and striving to be the best at his position. He brings great team work and leads production with a positive attitude. William is there to ensure his men are producing the highest quality of precast that MGA Cast Stone demands. William sets a high standard on our production team to meet all project deadlines fast and efficiently.
Kevin Cornwell, Carpentry Supervisor
Kevin began working in the construction industry 16 years ago. He has 12 years of hands on experience working directly with concrete. As the Carpentry Supervisor for MGA CAST STONE, INC, he leads the carpentry department with his expertise in form building. He is APA Quality Control Manager Level II certified and as well as APA Batch Plant Operator Certified. He has a keen eye for detail which he demonstrates through the quality of his work and leadership. He consistently performs with high levels of professionalism and technical expertise. As an invaluable asset to MGA CAST STONE, INC. Kevin brings that "Can Do", motto he learned while serving as a Seabee in the US Navy. He is always motivated to accomplish his tasks in a timely manner with meticulous skill and reliability.
Gerald Thomas, Finishing & Shipping Supervisor
Gerald Thomas brings to MGA 10 + years management experience and shipping & receiving. Gerald is responsible for leading his crew to organize and finish the highest quality precast and cast stone products our customers demand. Gerald is an effective communicator and brings excellent organizational structure to his department. Gerald continually delivers our projects to our customers on time, and based on our customer's needs. Gerald is a graduate of Andover College and has an associate's degree accounting. He lives in South Paris, Me. with his wife Brenda and son Michael.
Steve Damon, Physical Plant Manager
With over 20 years experience in the construction industry, Steve brings a strong work ethic and dedication to MGA that surpasses expectations. Through the years he has worked as a Supervisor for some of the area's largest contractors on high profile projects such as the Casco Bay Bridge and the Maine Turnpike Widening. Steve was also a concrete and equipment Superintendent on a precast Bridge Project for the Central Artery/Tunnel Project in Boston, Mass. Steve holds or has held certifications in the concrete industry such as MCTCB, ACI (plant and field tech) and PCI. Steve has completed supervisory courses through the AGC of Maine, and the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Assoc. Steve has completed many safety courses including O.S.H.A and M.S.H.A. as well as first aid and CPR. As the Physical Plant Manager/Safety Officer at MGA, he maintains all plant process equipment, daily physical inventory, and safety for the entire MGA Campus. Steve is always open to a challenge when specialty projects come our way.
Lilly the Dog, Company Mascot
Lilly has been an ever presence at MGA Cast Stone for over 6 years. Lilly is very loyal and has not missed a day of work yet. Always ready to greet our customers, she keeps us aware of who is coming and going. Lilly is a friend and companion to all MGA employees, whom they all consider as well. If you come by for a plant tour, you won't miss her... She'll be the first one to greet you!
